Alright, so you’ve been feeling out of whack. You blame it on alignment. So now what?
A really simple way to wake up your chakras is by meditation and focusing on each center of energy. Remember, energy healing is a very careful practice, so if your misalignment comes from a trauma that has affected your feeling of safety, this meditation may not entirely work for you. It can’t hurt though, so feel free to give it a whirl!
Starting by completely lying down, hands by your side, in what Yogis call “corpse pose.” Center yourself and get to a place of relaxation and peace. Clear your mind and try to let your thoughts drift away.
Then, once you feel centered, bring your attention to each chakra, starting from your crown moving all the way down to your root. There are seven (crown, third eye, throat, heart, solar plexus, sacral, and root.) Be sure to be patient with each, and envision the energy as a ball of light in their specified color.
Take your time to notice what the ball of energy looks like. Are there some that are brighter than others? If so, focus your attention on those that are more dim, and try to work with them until their light becomes vibrant. Focus on them and breathe energy deeply into the power center.
Once you have all of your chakras emitting about the same amount of energy, picture all seven lighting up on your body at once. Feel exactly what it is like to be in alignment, and breathe steadily, but powerfully, in and out.
When you are ready, flutter open your eyes. You should feel more energized after this meditation to go about your day.
After your meditation, take note of which chakras seemed to be more difficult to work with. Is your heart not cooperating? Is your sacral sleeping? Take note of what needs work and do specific meditations and crystal work to help bring these chakras out of a dormant state. Get meditating and stay witchy ( *)
